Xfinity Gateway DHCP me 192.168.100.xxx LAN IPs while gateway address is 10.0.0.1 by default

Xfinity Gateway kept DHCP me 192.168.100.xxx LAN IPs while the gateway address is set to 10.0.0.1 by default (DHCP: 10.0.0.2-10.0.0.253).

This caused my devices only to have ipv6 connection to the internet, while no ipv4 connection. Some of the devices cannot even connect to wifi.

It should have assigned me 10.0.0.xxx ipv4 addresses as per DHCP setting.

I have tried to restart and restore the gateway several times, and I also tried to get a replacement gateway in-store (different model), but the issue remains.

The issue have been partially resolved. By restoring the gateway to factory and activate it while not connecting the gateway to a Windows PC through a ethernet cable, only use WIFI. Seems like once connected using ethernet cable, my PC messes with the gateway's DHCP and made all subsequent DHCP address directed to 192.168.100.xxx.

Don't really know the reason why.
