Xfinity gaming bad experience
Hello, I’ve been having a bad experience while gaming (PUBG, CS2, Warzone, BO6). I’m wired, and I’ve tried different modems and routers. They perform better than the XB8, but I would prefer to use the XB8 rather than have a separate modem and router. (With different router and modem is still 7+ms)
In CS2, I constantly get 10+ ms of jitter. The outside cable is not inside a box, so it gets direct sunlight. I don’t know if that could cause the cable to degrade. I’ve never had a box for it, and I’ve been living here since 2021, so it’s been exposed for several years. (It may be a theory I am not sure if it is the reason)
There are also a number of uncorrectable errors. I’m wondering if the issue could be related to the cable, the signal, or possibly node congestion.
