Xfinity CBR-T Modem/Router Access Point functionality while in Bridge Mode

I have a Linksys Velop I'd like to use as my primary router. I'm putting the Xfinity Box into Bridge mode So I can use the same IP scheme as the xfinity router was using. Everything works great no issues. But my question is this. since the Xfinity bridge is between the ISP and the Router, Does it/Can it still act as an access point based on the configuration of the Linksys router.  The scenario is, If I have Cat 5 spanning between locations that are 50 feet apart. Will the bridge act as an access point. If not, the ramifications are that I have only one Wifi Access point between the two devices and therefore cannot cover as much space. Make sense?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. I am not an expert when it comes to your network setup and what would work and not work while in bridge mode. There are some articles on our site that may be helpful. You can go to https://comca.st/3Cdr1Gj for some basic information.
