Xfinity blocking my website - website unblocking requests going unanswered

I have created a website for a client and it is being blocked by Xfinity - the website works on all other networks. The error I get is ' malware and phishing - the site is blocked due to known security threats' I have reached out via phone and submitted countless website unblocking requests on the xfinity website. It says I should have a response within three days.  This issue has been ongoing for more than two months still without resolution.  What can I do? Who can fix this? The problem seems relatively common as I have seen lots of posts about this, but I've yet to see updates saying it has been resolved. This is costing my client time and money.

please someone help!

@user_6902e0 thank you for your post. I appreciate you letting us know you have tried the steps to unblock your website. Trust me if I was in your shoes I would be reaching out too. We are here and happy to help. We will need to reach out to our Customer Security Assurance for more help. I presume this is whom you spoke with when you stated you called in correct?

Yes, I spent more than three hours on the phone yesterday passed from rep to rep who had no clue how to help me. Incredibly frustrating as there seems to be no knowledge from staff on this issue. Can I give you the web address that needs to be unblocked?

@user_6902e0 I am sorry you were not able to get this resolved yesterday and understand how frustrating that would be. In order to see where things were left yesterday I will need to review the notes on your account. To get started, please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address.

To send a "Direct Message" message:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
I am an Official Xfinity Employee.
Official Employees are from multiple teams within Xfinity: CARE, Product, Leadership.
We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation.
