Xfinity blocking access to Akamai CDN (content delivery network)?
I have been waging an uphill battle against 2K Games because I. Like many people around the world, have been experiencing a great deal of trouble with the online servers for their WWE2K video games. Many players the world over experience constant issues with the online matches not loading, matches disconnecting when they do load and just all kinds of other problems. I personally have created well over 20 tickets with walks official support site, and the best i've ever gotten out of them is them having me run a path ping and route trace test that, they tell me, is showing me having timeouts reaching some of their servers. They then use this to tell me is to contact my ISP and “collaborate” on a solution.
I have contacted xfinity countless times on this matter as well, and the best they can tell me is that it’s likely a problem on 2K's end, and that there is nothing they can do with the test results 2K insists I need to share with xfinity to find a solution.
my most recent interaction with wK support had the agent suggesting that it was I’m ISP blocking access to something called “Akamai CDN (Content Delivery Network)”, and told me to, again, contact my isp and see what can be done to remove any blocks that may be in place on whatever this is.
So, what do I do now?

@BarryWhiteLover We appreciate your time in reaching out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I definitely understand the frustration if you're a gamer, and you're experiencing service issues while gaming. Do you play any other games and experience issues like this on their servers? Or is it only with 2K games that you have this issue?

Has this post been resolved? I'm having issues with another 2K game, NBA 2K25 and would appreciate support.
