Xfinity and Ps5pro wired

Both hardwired and wireless. Both a static and dynamic IP addresses. With or without port forwarding. With or without putting the PS5 in DMZ. Using XB8 as the gateway And it’s stilll terrible. But the techs come and say evryrbting is fine more than fine “actually getting more than you pay for” which is nonsense cuz every game online feels slow delay sluggish or unresponsive it’s like I have a invisible person holding me down every game I play and aim assist is zero it’s like I’m on a mouse with no aim assist! I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. But if I go down thr street to my friends (Xfinity) it’s smooth and normal. Or I’ll go to my brothers (att) and it’s normal fast smooth. I’ve did the stateful all that and nothing changes. I’ve talked to countless “agents” countless reprovisions countless new modems and they all turn off or glitch and disconnect for a 2 min period then come back on and it gets worse

user_38e189 Hello, and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I can see why you're fustrated. As someone who spends a lot of time online myself, I know how noticeable those delays can feel when a game just doesn't respond the way it should. A few questions that may help us narrow this down:

* When the gateway disconnects, does the entire home lose internet, or is it mainly affecting the PS5?

* Are you seeing this issue across multiple games, or is there one title where it's most noticeable?

* When you take the same PS5 to your friend's or brother's house, does everything feel normal right away?

* Have you noticed if the disconnects happen at certain times of day, or are they completely random?

* Also, when the XB8 drops offline, what do the lights on the gateway do?

I  appreciate all the detail you've provided so far. If there's anything else you've noticed, even if it seems minor, please share it. Sometimes those little details can help point us in the right direction. We're happy to keep digging into this with you.
