Xfi pods

Every single time I've ever Had to restart my router My Xfi pods have such a hard time reconnecting to the network it's ridiculous sometimes they don't even want to reconnect could be 30 minutes 45 minutes or not at all having to unplug them and plug them back in sometimes doesn't work it shouldn't be this hard why do you guys tell us garbage and then give us garbage instructions when I purchase something it should just do it I shouldn't have to go through all the rigmarole of ridiculous steps

Hello user_qs5a0h

Appreciate you reaching out! That is strange. My xFi pods all reboot and come back on seamless.

If you continue through activation and receive the 'My Pods Won’t Come Online' error message after plugging in all the xFi Pods from the set, then:

  • Check that your xFi Pods are not plugged in to power outlets that are connected to light switches.
  • Check that your xFi Pod is placed in an electric outlet halfway between your Gateway and an area without coverage.
    • Then, if you have more pods to activate, make sure your remaining xFi Pods are evenly spaced from each other and the Gateway to ensure even coverage.
  • Make sure that your xFi Pods are visible and not blocked by furniture or other large objects.
  • Try unplugging the xFi Pod and plugging it back in. It may take a minute for the xFi Pod to connect. Check for a small light on the front of the xFi Pod when first plugged in.
  • Do not connect your xFi Pods directly to your xFi Gateway using the Ethernet port on the bottom of the xFi Pod. The xFi Pods connect wirelessly to the xFi Gateway. You will not be able to activate your xFi Pods if one is connected directly to the Gateway.
