Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
TG3482G is whats listed but on back of modem its TG3482P2, don't know the differences... Is there a way to download the downstream and upstream numbers, I'm not seeing it. They fall between 1.5 - 3.0 downstream, upstream 41.77 - 42.27, SNR - 36.6 - 37.3
I'm sorry I should have posted the basic info, its a TG3842P2. I just reset it cause I wasn't able to login to the modem, kept giving me wrong password, so now all my logs are gone, so ill have to hold off on that.
