Xfi gen 2 Pods wont activate

I received 2 new gen 2 pods yesterday and they will not activate. Ive tried all the troubleshooting items that Comcast recommends and still cant get the app to activate either of them.  I have the XB7 router. I have the gen 1 pods and they activated and ran just fine. Has anyone had this issue?

Same here. Absolutely no help from Xfinity. Now I can't get my old pods to activate either. New Gateway did not help

So I finally got mine working. It was one of two things that did it, first I had the Xfinity guy reset my signal from their end, then I plugged the gen 2 Pods within eye sight of my XB7 (about 6ft) and it finally activated them. Once they are activated you can move them whereever you want. Hope that helps.
