XFI Gateway Turning WIFI on/off by a set schedule

I came across an old question and would like to re-ask it seeing that was over 3 years ago. Same question looking to disable wifi everyday between the hours of 12am to 6am. Off at 12am on at 6am.

I can see other products are able to do this ie Netgear Nighthawk and ARRIS. I currently rent my modem so if there was an option I wouldn't need to consider going to a 3rd party.

Hello, @ChristineF1984. Thanks for posting on our community forums. With our awesome Xfinity App, you will be able to Set up an Active Time limit. Under Wi-Fi > Connected to your Wi-Fi > manage person > Household > Gear (settings) upper right corner. Let me know if this helps.

Dilary thanks for the message, but that doesn't quite answer my question. If you re-read my post and the post I referenced. The ask is to TURN OFF wifi broadcasting completely based off a schedule. I believe you are talking about limiting wifi by a device/user? I assume then there isn't a means to do this currently?

Thanks for your response, @ChristineF1984. Stopping or turning off the Wi-Fi signal based on a schedule would not be a feature we have available on our Xfinity App. My apologies. For more information on our Xfinity Network Settings and Advanced Settings available, you can visit us HERE

It seems like other products in the market are able to do this. Is this something that can be suggested to xfinity? Here is one example to reference:

For a very long time, I was able to schedule WiFi use on one of my household devices, but Xfinity has decided to eliminate that feature.

As near as I’ve been able to determine, the only way I can get back the ability to schedule WiFi use on my kid’s device, is to spend more money.  The option “Private Relay” on my device needs to be turned off, but I can’t do that unless I subscribe to “iCloud+”.
