Xfi Advanced security blocking access to network printer
After turning on advanced security I no longer have access to my network printer. I have HP CP1025 plugged into Comcast router but PC shows not connected, although Comcast shows it's available on network. I also lost Apple air print capability. I plugged printer back into PC USB and it prints from PC but not Air Print. Changed cables to router, rebooted everything, installed Win 10 updates. Tried disconnecting advanced security and McAffee firewall, printer shows as not connected, even though 10.0.0.1 shows printer there. I did help desk through McAffee, they think it's Comcast. I have no idea what setting to change on Comcast. Any ideas? Unfortunately my printer is 10 years old but i just spend $200 on all new color laser cartridges and dont want to buy new printer to confirm it's Comcast.

I did a printer firmware update and THAT worked. Ive turned advanced security back on and everything, including network printer, seems to work. What issues have you had with advanced security? Thank you for your help, i do appreciate the brain storming. I thought i had updated everything but forgot about the firmware.

Disable it. It's buggy ! And there is not currently a way to whitelist anything;
