XE2-SG Pods: Fire Hazard

I've had two of these pods for a few years. A couple of months ago, I smelled something burning and found that the GFCI outlet that one of the pods was plugged into was brown along with the wall underneath the plug. I figured the plug had gone bad for some reason and replaced it. Today, I looked at the outlet with the other pod and found out that it too had turned brown along with the wall. So, these pods are definitely a fire hazard. I unplugged both and won't use them.
