Xbox says "can't connect to your DHCP server" how can I fix the problem

What are you using specifically for equipment, and what are you trying to plug into with the Xbox?

As an xbox fan, I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. We can help. Have you checked if you are experiencing this issue on multiple devices?

Yes it is on multiple devices. We have 2 Xbox and a Ps5. All are giving us the same problem. We need to hard wire the systems but can't seem to get it. I have tried all the fixes I can find online without success.

Ah, okay. Thanks for letting us know, @user_0mppyp. Would you mind confirming what troubleshooting steps you have taken thus far? Are you able to connect wirelessly directly to the xFi modem/router bypassing the switch to see if you get the same error message?

Yes I can do that but the connection isn't fast enough to run the games the kids are using. I even had someone from Xfinity come by but they said they didn't know anything about switch boxes but did make some changes to my service to make it faster after the diagnostic test determined the connection was slow. This, however, didn't fix my gaming problem.
