XB8-T gateway now drops 2.4 ghz devices, Ring Cameras even phones

In the last week perhaps after an automatic gateway update 2.4ghz is basically unusable, which is really bad as many things like ring cameras do not have a 5ghz option.  I've trouble shooted it to the point where I've noticed even making my phone connect to the 2.4ghz is very hard, many rejections and then even when connected for a few minutes will drop.   Only way to fix is to manually reset the modem with a power cycle, which is made harder by the fact that xfinity app  suddenly no longer supports iphone 8's anymore, so I have to do it physically.   If this is a wide spread issue many may not notice if they have all 5ghz capacble devices.

My connections are very good so its not interference, I can be in the same room with my phone and it will have the same symptoms, and the cameras are just a room away, rssi-45 which is very good.

Please look into this, its a big problem.
