XB8/server bugs and XB8 manuals
Today, had one XB8 swapped out for another. The following bugs still exist or recur. It is unvalidated whether these are server or XB8, but figured I'd share with you here and see if you're able to replicate.
- Doesn't software-detect my devices plugged into all Ethernet ports (seems to be better at ports 1 and 3) (the devices work, can connect to Internet, but the Xfinity technician couldn't see them and the Xfinity portal and Xfinity app don't show the devices)
- DMZ function doesn't work ("We're Having Some Trouble" - weird word-capitalization - and "Please try again. If the problem persists, check back later.")
- Port Forwarding doesn't work (either can't find my devices - see first bullet - or "We're Having Some Trouble" - weird word-capitalization - and "Please try again. If the problem persists, check back later.")
- Can't turn off "Xfinity Wifi Hotspot Network" ("There was an error. Try again or check back later.")
- DHCP lease time set in Router menu ("10.0.0.1", though I changed mine) does not propagate to Server (I changed it from default of 2 days to 1 day in Router mentu, does not reflect in App menu or internet.xfinity.com)
Also, the two XB8s I've had each have a USB-C port on the back of them. It is unclear whether these are power-only or offer additional functionality.
As a result of the USB-C ports, the manual mentioned previously in the forums (https://fccid.io/UIDTG4482/Users-Manual/Users-Manual-4676983) is not necessarily correct (it's also for a TG4492A not TG4482A). The proper TG4482A manual (FCC ID G954981X) is:

There are three on the FCC page (I didn't examine each for differences), that's the latest dated one.
The FCC page is:
