At this time, due to inventory constraints, we cannot guarantee an XB8 will be sent out to a customers residence. We're working to increase our inventory so that all customers can have access to the latest and greatest in internet technology.

Devices are not available via professional installation or at any of our Xfinity Retail Locations at this time. 

The XB7 xFi Advanced Gateway supports all of the same Xfinity Internet speed tiers as the XB8. Both devices have a Maximum Data Throughput up to 2.5 Gbps as well as 4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports. The only difference between the devices is the XB8 offers a Tri-Band wireless connection whereas the XB7 offers a Dula-Band, and the number of connected devices has increased from 75 to 100.

We anticipate having additional stock going into May of 2022, though this is subject to change.
