XB8 Partial Service - High Downstream Power (+13.5 dBmV) and Unknown Modulation
Hello, I am experiencing frequent dropped WiFi calls and packet loss. I have an XB8 gateway and my signal levels are out of spec.
Downstream Power: Ranging from +12.6 dBmV to +13.5 dBmV (Overspec).
SNR: Failing at 33.6 dB - 34.2 dB.
Modulation: Showing as "Unknown" on multiple channels (including 15 and 34).
OFDM (Channel 193): Missing or failing to hold frequency lock.
Upstream: Power is 41.8 dBmV, but Channel 43 shows 0 Symbol Rate and has fallen back to TDMA.
I have already tightened all coax connections and bypassed internal splitters. Based on the "Unknown" modulation and high power tilt, I believe there is an ingress or equipment issue at the tap. Can an official employee please help me schedule a line technician?
