XB8 modem

I recently ordered the gigabit x2 with the xb8 gateway. Im not seeing anything remotely close to 2x gigabit speeds. Seeing 700mbps or a little above.

Prior I had the gig plan with a arris sb8200 and got 900+ mbps, so i know my connection is good.

@user_ixpdlv, hello and thank you for your post! Congrats on the speed upgrade! When you run these speedtests, are you doing them through the Xfinity app? If so, are you doing a speed to gateway test? That will help us narrow down possible causes.

Edit: We found the issue to be an order that didn't close. As soon as we completed it, the speeds immediately improved to the plan level.

I ran the test through the xfinity app and a pc with a 2.5gig ethernet card via xfinity, speakeasy ect ... I did a home install and provisioned the modem via xfinity app. I think its on your end. Thank you
