XB8 Gateway 2.5GB port dropped from 2GB speed to 1GB speed overnight

The speed from the 2.5GB port on my new XB8 Gateway dropped from a measured ~1.8GB/s to ~800-900MB/s overnight.

The speeds from the other 1GB ports were around ~1.1GB/s and are now the same ~800-900/MB/s.

I'm on the 2GB plan.

I'm using a short (15ft) cat6 cable.

I've rebooted the gateway.

The gateway sees 2GB/s+ speeds.

Wifi speeds to iPhone are 1.5GB/s.

I'm suspecting an incorrect config file pushed out did this.

Anyone know how to fix this other than a technician coming out or swapping the XB8 gateway at the store?

Thanks!

user_oj4be0 Thank you for stopping in for help with your speed concerns. It's never good to see your speeds slower than what they should be, and I appreciate you reaching out for help. I always recommend starting with our Xfinity assistant for troubleshooting if you're not getting the speeds you should. The Xfinity assistant is great at detecting network issues and setting up appointments if needed. You can also check out our troubleshooting tips page to get a better idea of what the issue may be. Have you already checked out the troubleshooting in the Xfinity assistant?
