XB8 available areas

I have been waiting for the XB8 modem to come to my area, SE Connecticut. I have contacted customer service 3 times and 3 times sent me the wrong modem. When are the XB8 modems going to be in stores in SE Connecticut, specifically Groton CT? All i want is an actual answer about the estimated date of availability, no [Edited: "Language"], just be up front if you don't know, then that is the answer. Don't tell me it is available and when i get to the store, they have no idea what i am talking about. (This has happened 3 times now and i know more than the rep that i talked to.)

Hello @user_8100b9 Thank you for your interest in the XB8 gateway. I'm sorry that we have not been able to get you the correct device yet. At this time the inventory is limited and when the XB8 is available they are only available from professional installation or shipment. Store availability is not known yet. Unfortunately we have no way of promising that you will receive an XB8 with install or shipment since it's based on the available inventory. 

I would be happy to check back with you here in about a week with any new details.

@XfinityPaula​ I would appreciate updates as well please. I have been trying since 4/6/2022. And as most others been sent the XB7 instead. I have a pending order now that is a week old and keep getting told three times now give it another 24-48 hours. This is the worst roll out ever. Why advertise like crazy if you can't supply the equipment.

@elwellj73 I can definitely understand where you are coming from. The device was more popular than intended. The only available update as of now is more should be available by the end of the month. We look forward to accommodating your request. Have a great day!

We'd wanted to check in as promised, and touch base to let you know that as of the current moment, we are in midst of ongoing inventory restraints for the XB8.
We are able to place an order, but cannot guarantee the delivery of the XB8 (as the XB7 may be sent in its place).
Please let us know if you'd like to move forward with an order, or prefer to standby for the XB8 when it becomes most assuredly available.

As noted in other threads. The XB8 is in very short supply. It's out-of-stock pretty much everywhere.

If out of stock everywhere then they should stop advertising it as available. Worst roll out ever! Been trying since 4/6. Been sent the XB7 multiple times even after being promised the correct modem (XB8) would ship. Corporate has no clue either. What joke!
