XB8 Admin password change fails

I have installed a new (to me) XB8 gateway and have accessed the web interface. When I login with default password the GW insists on changing the password. No problem. I enter the old password as password and enter my new password. Click ok and the page goes blank. Password not changed. I can't get past this point.

crossle86 You might try clearing the cache, and cookies for your internet browser before accessing the Gateway admin tool. Also, you may need to use an ethernet connection to complete the password change.

So pw change was failing on Chrome on Windows 10. I tried it with Chrome on my Android tablet and it worked correctly. Go figure.
