XB7-T problems?

I've been having problems with my XB7-T modem/router since day 1.  Although my gateway speed tests great and all wifi connections test good, I continue having intermittent disconnects from my Ring cameras. Lately I've had to restart my XB7-T almost daily to reconnect to a camera. My signal strength tests good from each camera and doorbell.

Also my Lenovo desktop is wired via ethernet cable to the XB7. Several times during an internet search or while clicking to a new page in an article, I'll receive a message that I've lost my internet connection. If I refresh the page, it connects right away. 

I've also had people tell me that sometimes their smart phone wifi connection is terrible, even when they are using their phone in the same room as the XB7.

Is this a know problem with XB7-T?

What do I need to do to fix it or have the box replaced?

I just chatted with xFinity. They are sending me a replacement modem.

Thanks for the follow up. I swapped out the XB7’s yesterday. I haven’t had a chance to use the Ethernet connected desktop since then.
The good news is that a speed test from the farthest point in our home has increased significantly. The bad news is that two of our Ring cameras lost their connections this morning. I may need to reach out to Ring concerning this particular issue.

You are welcome and thank you for the feedback. Which Ring cameras do you have, the spotlight, flood light? Do they only have the ability to use a 2.4 GHz or both 2.4 and 5 Ghz?
