XB7-T new XFi Gateway Modem

On the brand-new Gateway, for 1.2 Gb internet speed, what is the plug-in on the bottom right that has the red line beside it?   (The instructions didn't show anything.  Is it for anything special?  Why the red line?

It’s a 2.5 gig Ethernet port, the rest are 1 gig, use it for speeds over 1 gig
