XB7 not allowing band split
I have a new camera system and am unable to find a way to access the 2.4GHz. The Gateway access grays out all options. The Xfinity app will not "save" my request to split bands. The link everyone seems to give users with the same question is frustrating because it clearly states that with XB6 and above, the app nor the gateway will be able to help. I am VERY frustrated with Xfinity. I've wasted way too much time trying to figure this out. Please offer any suggestions (besides Xfinity's link).

I too have this problem and its due to a factory reset on my Samsung Smart Tv (It does not have band steering), I can't use my apps because the ToS can't be downloaded on anything other than 2.4GHz band. Why did Xfinity disable a critical feature for people's home network? How am I supposed to split the band?
