XB7 Gateway Connection issues
I'm really at a lose here. I'm not sure what else to do with this modem. Either I got a bad modem or there's something wrong in settings. But every day usually in morning or afternoon. Its just random. But mostly happens in middle of the night. All of my equipment connected to my two switch boxes loses connection. Only way to get them back is to restart the modem. Its like the modem stops assigning the dhcp to them. Once I restart the box and I have to unplug both switch boxes and they pick back up again work fine for 24 hours or so. I don't know what else it could be. I tried a few things in the settings but nothing seems to help. So wondering if I need to get them to send a replacement. If I got a bad one.

I tried switching from the xb6 to the xb7 as well and had similar issues. My speeds decreased and I was completely unimpressed. I did not see a benefit at all, and actually saw my services degrade. I had the xb7 online for about 2 weeks, so it had plenty of time to prove itself. luckily, I had not sent my xb6 modem back yet, so I just switched back to the old modem and things are back to normal. I'll wait until they get a more reliable product implemented before switching over again. It almost feels as if their beta testing the xd7 on everyone as they work out all the bugs. That's most likely why they offered the upgrade for free.
