XB7 Bridge Mode still broadcasting Wifi??
Hi all. Using a Deco mesh system so wanted to disable wifi on the XB7. Seems to have successfully turned it off via bridge mode but my laptop still sees a locked "XFINITY" and an open "xfinitywifi" wireless network.
I have no neighbors nearby and can't figure out where it's coming from.
Possible because I renamed the networks when I was using it for wireless?
Thoughts?

If you power down / unplug the XB7 do the Xfinity broadcasts disappear ?

You may be seeing the weak broadcast(s) of one of their public WiFi hotspots. Even if you have no close by neighbors, Comcast has public hotspots in businesses, and there are also pole and strand-mounted hotspots scattered around.
