xb7 bridge mode for 400+ Mbps is not stable

Hi Folks, trying to use xb7 in bridge mode, does not seem to be stable. Is this supported?

Yes. Bridge mode is supported. What exactly isn't "stable" ? The speeds ? The internet connection ? Both ?

The internet connection drops. Spoke to a rep, said I have flex tv thus, can't use bridge mode, is that correct?

O/k is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?


With this test, we are trying to isolate this from being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step of troubleshooting before we proceed any further.

@ user_78e259 Thank you for reaching out! Are you having specific issues with your Xfinity Flex box while in bridge mode, or are you noticing connection drops on all devices? 

I no longer work for Comcast.
