XB7 5ghz Auto Wifi Channel Issue

Finally got my hands on a XB7 today and did a test and noticed a huge speed decrease on 5ghz. Went from 250mbps to 150. I noticed the channel wifi channel is on a channel that wasnt used on the xb6. The channel right now is 42 and on the xb6 it was a much higher channel which made for much faster speeds. I can't change the channel since xfinity is doing it automatically. Is there anyway to change this or have technical support change the channel? Thanks

can a technician change my dynamic frequency to channel 6 or channel 149 to support a new modem
