XB6-T router/modem - 5 GHz broadcast won't connect
XFi XB6-T modem/router, have had it in the house for 2+ years.
2.4 GHz broadcast connects fine, but 5 GHz fails.
Not device or OS related, occurs with any device, any OS. Have restarted gateway and no improvement.
Going to perform hard reset.
Has anyone else had similar issues from this equipment over time?
Other suggestions or recommendations?

yes, I could see it, and it would appear as though everything was working correctly, but if I tried connecting, I would get no data exchange, and after a few seconds the 5 GHz channel would display 'Not Connected'.
Moot at this point, I did a factory reset and everything seems to be back to normal. There goes an hour of my life in setting everything back up, entering passwords on all my devices - but hey, it's working now.

When scanning for WiFi networks can you see the 5GHz band broadcast name / SSID ?
