XB6 wired device incorrectly shown offline, preventing port forwarding

I have an Xfinity CGM4140COM/XB6 gateway with what appears to be a device-inventory/xFi synchronization problem. The affected device is a wired Ethernet Debian server configured for DHCP.

The XB6 at 10.0.0.1 successfully assigns the server an IPv4 address via DHCP and is its default gateway. The server maintains continuous LAN and Internet connectivity and remains reachable at its assigned IP, but the Xfinity app incorrectly marks it as offline.

After fully power-cycling the gateway, the server briefly appeared online in the Xfinity app, then changed back to offline a few minutes later even though it remained connected and reachable. While it appeared online, the Port Forwarding page produced an error. Once the app marked it offline again, the Port Forwarding page opened normally, but the server was no longer available as a device to select.

I also tested the server using a different MAC address. The XB6 issued the new MAC a fresh DHCP lease and IPv4 address, and the server had normal connectivity, but it still was not shown correctly as an online device in the Xfinity app.

I also enabled Admin Tool access in the Xfinity app and created the required Admin Tool password. However, the gateway at 10.0.0.1 rejects the password created through the app.

Could someone check or reprovision the gateway's xFi configuration/device inventory? If this cannot be corrected on the CGM4140COM/XB6, I would like to replace it with an XB7 or newer gateway.

I found reports of this same issue being resolved by using the local Admin Tool's Connected Devices → Add Device with Reserved IP function, while leaving the server configured for DHCP. I would like to try this workaround, but I currently cannot access the Admin Tool because my XB6 rejects the Admin Tool password that I created through the Xfinity app: it tells me "Authentication failed. The default password is printed on the bottom or back of your router - use this if you haven’t already changed it.", but when I use that password, it says the password is wrong.
