Wrong Data Usage

I received an email saying I used 90% of my internet usage with in the first 15 days of August (1121GB of 1229GB). This is incorrect as I have not added or changed any devices or changed my internet habits. I also noted that my usage for May and June is 0GB which is also not correct. I have averaged about 500GB a month for the last 6 months, which seems reasonable. What can be done to correct this? I don't want to lose my one-time courtesy month or get charged for data I did not use.

Hello @Matt_P,Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.

That is very odd @Matt_P. If you are having an issue with data usage you can also reach out to the customer security team at https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ and have them look into that for you. You can also attempt to send another direct message here.

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
