Will Storm Ready work on power but no internet?

I have a solar system in my house that has a full house battery backup. I am curious if Storm Ready will work when there is no internet but still on power and not using Storm Ready's built-in battery?

For example I live in South Florida where Hurricanes are an inconvenience that we deal with here every year. So if there is a Hurricane that disables Xfinity internet but my house still has power, will the Storm Ready unit still work as intended? Or does it only work on 4G signal when it is on it's battery?

Yes, it will, C-64Basic. The Storm Ready Wi-Fi device Provides at least four hours Battery Backup for XLE during power outage and so even if the power and internet are out you will still be able to connect. I hope this information helps!

I am looking for a little bit more clarity than what info is on this unit on Xfniify's site.

You stated "during a power outage" I am curious if this will work if the internet is out but not power?

Example: If the ONLY internet is out in my area and I still have power to my house. Will this connect to the 4G network and provide internet?

Or does the unit need to be on its battery power to work?

Can you be more specific on my question please?

C-64Basic - Xfinity Storm-Ready WiFi provides unlimited cellular data backup in the event of a connectivity interruption, plus a battery backup to keep Storm-Ready WiFi connected when the power is out.
