WiFi weak outside

I’m trying to set up exterior cameras attached to my house but the WiFi signal is too weak.

The WiFi signal in my garage is also too weak to update my car’s software.

I have an older Gateway

Arris Model TG1682G

dual band 802.11ac

Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thx!
