Wi-Fi to different locations

How can I extend my Wi-Fi signal to different locations like my home office at the other end of my house and also my separate garage? I have Ethernet cable run to each location, but my Xfinity router/moden only has 2 Ethernet ports and I need 1 for my Hue bridge. I do get a Wi-Fi signal to both locations from the router/modem but it’s weak and not very stable. Thanks for any help.

If you have ethernet cable runs to these locations, it would be preferable to use them instead of WiFi connections. If you need more ethernet ports in order to use all of the runs, you can just connect an ethernet switch like one of these to one of the ports on the Comcast gateway device;

Purchase one with the number of ports you'll need.

yes I knew ethernet was a better connection, but I have devices that need wireless connection for garage door opener and Amazon devices

Installing a bridge as suggested does not negate the existing WiFi, it will perform to the same level as it has.  If you need better WiFi signal at the destination of the existing ethernet runs, then ad an Access Point there.  These can be powered via POE, (Power Over Ethernet) from the newly installed switch.  You will need a switch that can provide POE.

You can try using their Xfinity WiFi extender pods, or third party WiFi mesh systems. Getting those repeaters / extenders as close as possible to the desired areas by wiring them via ethernet backhaul would be a good option ! You can Google everything for more info. Good luck !
