wifi stopping, trying to open the xfinity app on my phone gives me a login prompt through xerxes-sub.xerxessecure.com

worth noting, earlier today someone in my home was notifed via Google somehow (email I believe) that there was a security breach on xfinity and the account password should be reset. I did reset my password, but not through the email link provided, to be safe I did it on a different device by manually visiting the xfinity site. anyways that was about 10 hours ago maybe, and not my wifi connection is stopping on my nintendo switch. I went to log in again and my usual wifi connection was gone, which doesn't usually happen when the wifi stops (its unfortunately frequent). since the connection was gone, i thought to check my xfinity app. it keeps redirecting me to sign in via xerxes-sub.xerxessecure.com. is it safe to login through this means? that's my main concern.
