Wifi Showing Up as Open

My wifi network is suddenly showing up as "open" instead of "secured" and doesn't require any password to connect. However, in the wifi settings I have a wifi password set and am using WPA2 security. I can update the wifi name and see the change reflected, but no matter what I do I can't get the network to appear secured. How can I resolve this?
