WiFi router is having a problem

The equipment does not seem to

work.  The signal and sign in are available but when you connect it isn’t emitting the WiFi it just times out.  We have already hard reset the router…now

what?

I know how frustrating it can be when your devices see the WiFi network but won't actually connect to the internet. To help us better understand what's happening, can you tell us a little more about your setup? Are all of your devices experiencing the same issue, or just one? Do you have an Xfinity Gateway or your own modem and router? What color is the status light on the device right now? After the reset, were any devices able to reconnect successfully?
