wifi pro extender

i recently got my gateway modem replaced and now my pro wifi extender will not activate. the chat has not been helpful and wants to send a technician when i never had problems with my previous modem and extender connecting, they claim i have network intermittency issues now.

I was given an XB7. After reading an article I read that modem is not compatible with the pro wifi extender so I am not sure why I was sent something different then what I previously had which was the XB8. Now there is a delay on my delivery for this replacement modem.

Click "Sign In" if necessary.

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

I am still waiting on my replacement. i have spoken to several agents that continue to tell me the order was placed incorrectly and that they will get it delivered and I have had no luck! I have over 3 different confirmation ID because they keep replacing the order. i need help!

make sure its compatible to your current modem. they had sent me the wrong one which is why i kept getting an error when trying to install the extender

I was told the Pro Extender has no problem working with an XB7 - Also want to know if the Pro Extender will allow split WiFi bands like my XB7 does

- I use w SSIDs one for 2.4 and one for 5.0 - Has anyone done this ?
