Place the extender near a window for a strong cellular signal and at least one room away from the gateway to avoid interference.
Use the Xfinity app to troubleshoot by going to Wi-Fi tab > View Wi-Fi equipment > Pro Wi-Fi Extender > Troubleshoot Device**.
If issues persist, check the Battery Backup; if it's blinking for over 30 minutes, reset it by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.
