Wifi Pods

A technician reccomeneded that I get pods to increase my Wifi range in my home. They don't work and I have unplugged them but they still show up on my app as being "Multiple Pods Offiline." When I press "Remove Pods" nothing happens. I understand that Xfinity sells sub-standard equipment and has poorly trained employees (But highly compensated executives, LOL) but I just want to get rid of this junk. It seems like Xfinity just won't let me, it is like I am cursed.
