Wifi paused. .

For days now my wifi keeps pausing and will not allow my laptop to connect. I am prompted to unpause it when I've never paused it to begin with. When I open the app to unpause, it says pause ...I've seen the other threads on here with the same issue and there is little information as to why this is happening,  how to stop it from happening, or even fix it. I went through all the troubleshooting steps multiple times.  I've reset my personal devices even in case they were the issue( though I know they arent.) It's becoming ridiculous,  and I am starting to notice a pattern of it happening around the same time frame each time it happens... That doesn't bode well as it seems planned, and or scheduled. Assistance would be appreciated.

@user_zs96yt Thank you so much for your post for help with your device being paused. For customers living close to other Xfinity customers, this can happen. Most commonly you can be connected to the wrong network causing the pause to be from the other network users/Managers. We recommend starting by forgetting your wireless networks and then connecting as if the device has never been connected before by finding your home network and entering your home network's password. If you are still encountering this message after forgetting your network and re-connecting a filter may be needed to prevent the surrounding signals from impacting your connection. Feel free to use the Wi-Fi troubleshooting in the Xfinity app or with the Xfinity assistant for help and to get an appointment set up if needed.

That PoE (Point of Entry) MoCA filter would get installed on the input port of the first splitter off of the coax cable drop from the street to keep the MoCA signal in your premises and to keep the neighbor's signals out.

Amazon has them: https://www.amazon.com/SNLP-1GCW-Filter-Eliminate-Multi-Room-Interference/dp/B07SLD9QPH

Or you may be able to get one for free at your local Comcast / Xfinity store. Or book a tech to come out and install one for you.

If the MoCA feature is not being used on your home network, you can put the POE filter right at the back of your gateway device instead. Good luck !
