Thank you for joining the Xfinity Forums community and for reaching out to us here for help with your Xfinity Wi-Fi, user_q2rz1m. I know I'd be reaching out too if I were unable to enjoy my services. This is not the experience we want for anyone. We can assist!
If one or more of your Xfinity services aren’t working, you can check to see if a service interruption has been reported in your area a few different ways. The Xfinity Account app works great to check your account status. And, if nothing is reported you can even use the app to troubleshoot.
Additionally, the Status Center allows you to view your connection status, fix service issues, and check for local Comcast interruptions. Identify problems and find easy solutions here. https://www.xfinity.com/support/status/.
In some instances, we can determine your service status. If you've registered your mobile phone number for Comcast Alerts, you will receive proactive SMS text messages providing that information, as well as estimated resolution timeframes, periodic updates, and a final message when the services are restored.
Not only that, you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) to check for interruptions in your area. (Data and messaging rates may apply.) You also have the option to receive a text message update as soon as your Xfinity services are restored. I hope this info helps!
