Wifi offline multiple times daily

My WiFi has been going offline multiple times daily for several weeks. I have unplugged my router and plugged it back in and it does start working again, but then it goes offline again within an hour or two. At the same time the TV picture starts breaking up and then also goes offline as well. I tried using the chat feature on your site for help, but the virtual assistant just goes in circles and never gets me to the right person. 

Is there someone who can help?

Thank you so much for the post! Have you attempted the Troubleshooting option in the Xfinity app yet?

  1. Select WiFi and click the Troubleshoot option.
    • If the option to run the test isn’t available in the Xfinity app, try updating to the latest version.
  2. If our system detects a problem we can’t fix online, you’ll have the option to schedule a technician visit.
