Wifi keeps going out

My wifi keeps going out. My cables are attached exactly as they should be abd every day at least once a day, Xfinity wifi goes out. The app asks me fix the cables, restart the router and wait for a couple of minutes. But why should anyone be asked to do that for just wanting a consistent wifi connection.  Why isn't Xfinity able to fix this?
