Wifi gets shut off

My wifi gets shutt off every couple months or so...it says there is an outage and I clearly see other networks on the xfinity hot spot... and it's for 24 hours or more... customers have security systems and cameras... not acceptable... I've been a customer for years I'm at gold and it didn't used to do this as

much... now it's way more frequent... it's got me seriously wanting to cancel the service.. is there something im missing
