Wifi Extender

i have a wifi extender that keeps disconnecting from my home wifi. Ive done every troubleshoot option and recommendation that have been provided to me trhough the xfinity app and it does NOT work how intended. After i troubleshoot the extender it would connect to the internet and allow my gaming system to connect to it via ethernet cable but after 5-15 minutes and/or if open any app up that requires an internet connection my wifi extender complexly shuts down, disconnects from the wifi and then reconnects to the wifi after i troubleshoot it only for it to loose connection as soon as i do anything requiring an connection. i would like someone to either help me look into the health my wifi extender or have a replacement sent to me since im a platinum member of 6 years and i recived the extender free along with my membership.
