Wifi Extender and Router

Hello, I have a NETGEAR wifi extender and it is connected to my router but says there is no internet connection even though my router says there is an internet connection. Any advice?

Are you using an XFINITY modem or a purchased modem with your Netgear wifi extender? If using one of our modems with your router, you will want to put the modem in bridge mode.
