WIFI connection issues

It started within the last week, any of my devices that connect with WIFI will have trouble connecting. When I try to connect my phone after this issue starts I get a warning that says "This network is operating on Wi-Fi channels in use by several other nearby networks. Restarting your wireless router may allow it to automatically choose the best channel to use.". After resetting my xFI router all of the connections will start working again, the problem is I am now having to reset my router 2-3 times a day. I have 3 iPhones that are on iOS16, an iPad, 2 laptops on Windows 10 and my router was upgraded within the last year.

Hello @user_9fe2ad! Thanks for reaching out to us here for support. I'm sorry to hear you've been having this ongoing issue with your wifi connection and we would love to help.

I have a few questions to get us started.

Are you using a personal router along with your Xfinity gateway?

Are you attempting to connect to your connect to your home network or one of the Xfinitywifi hotspots?

Are you separating your 2.4 and 5g networks with different names?

@XfinityTambrey

I am not using a personal router.

I am trying to connect to my home network.

I am not separating my WiFi bands.

Thank you for those details. I have had a similar situation, so I can understand the concerns when your devices are not connecting. What I have found is before restarting the gateway, visiting the settings on the connected devices, and "Forget" this network. Then after the reboot, logging back into the network using my password. Can you give this a try, and let me know if your devices remain connected?

I no longer work for Comcast.

This just started happening to me. Did this suggestion work for you? I don’t see a conclusion here.

@user_37f5db Have you had a chance to try any of the troubleshooting that was provided above?
