Wifi camera notifications not working

About 2 weeks ago my wifi camera and my mother in laws camera stopped working. I called the app manufacture and they told me comcast updated their network. I called xfinity help and they setup a 2.4 and 5g network. They told me to use the 2.4 network and wala it worked i can connect, unfortunately I cannot get my notification so the cameras will not alert me anymore. Any ideas. I have all notifications on

Hi there, @user_b80aaa Thank you so much for your time and patience! I'm very sorry to hear that your cameras are no longer sending you notifications, I truly understand how important they are for you to get those notifications. Have you tried the following?

  1. Grant permission for the Xfinity app to send notifications in your phone’s settings, if necessary.
  2. Sign in to the Xfinity app.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Scroll down to the desired camera or video doorbell and select the camera thumbnail.
  5. On the camera screen, select the gear icon on the upper-right.
  6. Select Notifications.
  7. Select the On/Off switch to turn on notifications.
