WiFi and Public Hotspot Setting being changed after turned off.
Why are my Xfinity WiFi settings and Xfinity Public Hot Spot settings repeatedly being changed on my account? After I turn off broadcasting of WiFi name and Xfinity Public Hot Spot off? Not understanding why they are turned back on? After having experienced a tremendous amount of difficulties and multitude of inconveniences the last two week; for example, been on the phone repeatedly hours in a day, I've had to change my modem twice, WiFi name and password and anything connected to it also has to be changed, lost a lot of data during a reset. I've been turning off broadcasting of WiFi name and turning off Xfinity Public Hot Spot? Xfinity also notifies its customers via notification text and an email sent to your Xfinity email account every single time any changes have been made to your Xfinity services, account or settings. Customers receive emails each time stating your WiFi is now visible or has been hidden. How are these features being turned back on without customer's knowledge after they've turned them off?

Hello Cassandra, thank you for your immediate response. I'm turning off Xfinity Public Hotspot and broadcasting of my WiFi name and wanted to know how exactly is this being turned back on without my permission, knowledge and not being notified of it? Whenever I do it, it normally sends me a text notification and email alert to my Xfinity email account. Stating your WiFi name is hidden or your WiFi name is visible. Under WiFi equipment, advanced settings, Xfinity WiFi hotspot, Participate in Xfinity WiFi is being turned back on after I've already turned that off too. I actually called in to 1-800-Xfinity at approximately 3:42pm today 5/17/2023, call duration was 1 hour and 52 minutes. Your representative was very nice and tried to do the best he could to assist. After seeing this occur on May 9, 10, and again 15th, 2023. Yesterday, 5/16/2023 I called at approximately 4:38pm call lasted a long time along with countless other calls lasting 1-2-3 hours and sometimes even more than one call in the same day that I see on my call log several times the past two or more weeks. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
